An Organization that Ensures the Increase of Exports in Turkey
Established to organize and increase exporters for the purpose of increasing the country's exports, Istanbul Mineral and Metal Exporters' Associations was first founded as the Istanbul Mineral Exporters' Association in 1976. The duties of the Istanbul Mineral and Metal Exporters' Associations include organizing and planning exporters, regulating professional practices and relations, making domestic and international contacts, participating in promotional and advertising organizations, organizing Buyer Delegations and Trade Delegations, publishing for the purpose of informing about activities, and organizing seminars, meetings, and panels to raise awareness among exporters.
Active Members from Many Sectors
The Association, with approximately 25,000 active members, is structured by associations from the steel, chemical, industrial, mineral, natural stone, iron, electrical, and electronics sectors. Established to develop Turkey's exports, establish dominance in new markets, organize operations, and act with a common mind, Istanbul Mineral and Metal Exporters' Associations is among Turkey's most prestigious associations. They invest in the future and train qualified business people through training provided in seminars, fairs, panels, and meetings.
