RUBBER COOKER FUNCTION

RUBBER COOKER FUNCTION

What is curious about the rubber cooker?

Rubber cooking is a chemical and technical method. After this process, rubbers become more durable. Cookers, which can be obtained from brands that offer chemical solutions such as , can be used in many branches of industry. This means that products in areas where rubber is used are more durable. This process, which is carried out by adding sulfur or sulfur equivalent sulfurizing agents to rubber, can also use disulfur dichloride. To speed up this process, active ingredients called tetramethylthiuram disulfide can be added to the sulfur. In cookers, also called vulcanization, attention should be paid to the temperature at which the process is carried out. Cooking at a temperature between 120 and 160 degrees is considered the ideal level.

Gaining Elasticity with Rubber Cooker

In the cooking process, rubber molecules form a network through other substances incorporated into them. After this process, rubber loses its plastic properties and gains a more flexible form. Rubber that has undergone processing with the help of cookers can become even more flexible and durable than rubber. The rubber cooker process, which makes it extremely resistant to many adversities, from adverse weather conditions to disintegration, is therefore important. Sulfur bridges created with the elasticity of rubber are directly connected to each other. A higher number of sulfur bridges helps the product gain a more flexible form. Tires made of rubber, which become more flexible and durable thanks to rubber cookers, show signs of wear through pores. Worn surfaces gain sensitivity. After physical changes, the products can be renewed.
